Vintage Panasonic TR-4060P Space Age Flip Up TV /AM FM Clock Radio from 1982 NEW, LOWER PRICE

This “BiSider” is an impressive piece of history showing the Panasonic name did not just become one of the best overnight. Made in Osaka Japan this baby is a gem. In its flat position the 4-inch TV works and in the upright position the radio works switching between the two functions automatically. Regardless of position the clock works. I am not easy to please when it comes to quality and design. This one rates high on my list. It has a telescopic antenna (not bent or broken) which is stored under a flap above the clock. Has some wear and tear due to age but overall looks fabulous. See pics for better description.

This unit measures 8 1/2 inches wide x 5 1/2 inches high x   6 1/2 inches deep when TV is exposed and 8 inches tall by same depth and width when the 4-inch B&W TV is hidden in the base. Everything is functional including the green gas discharge clock display. As seen in the last photo, it was picking up a TV program, from Ion Television on UHF. Note: this item was manufactured before the High-definition television (HDTV) that was introduced in 1998 so the only analogue TV reception possible now are a few repeater UHF NTSC channels still broadcasting. Full TV reception is possible with an external converter.
